The Formatic range of forming & portioning machines guarantee accurate portioning and forming of a wide variety of mixtures and products. Encompassing a number of different sized models from 1200 products per hour to 24,000 per hour, the range has been developed to accommodate the needs of low and high volume producers of bakery, meat, snack foods and ready meal products. Not only has the Formatic shown efficiency gains of over 40% in low volume production plants, it has also proved to be perfect for in-house product development facilities.
 R-series Formatic machines cover products up to 115mm diameter and almost any shape that can fit inside this diameter. Production speeds vary from 1200 per hour up to 8,800 per hour depending on which version and how many shapes can be fitted on the forming drum.
 C-series Formatic machines have a larger forming area than the R-series and can form some materials up to 125mm diameter, as well as almost any shape that can be fitted inside a 130mm diameter circle at speeds of 1,000 to 24,000 per hour.
Formatic accessories:
- Operator foot pedal control.
- Larger hopper capacities.
- Open top hoppers for continuous filling.
- Automatic paper interleaving.
- Automatic wire scraper cleaning (usually for meat sinew build-up and not usually
required for cookie manufacture).
- Extended conveyors and separate independently powered conveyors.
Formatic Multi, using the same proven adjustable forming drum principle of the Formatic machine, is a high production version available to feed 300mm, 400,, and 600mm continuous coating and frying production lines directly with formed & portioned product.
 Formatic Indexing
The Formatic X-series combine accurate portion control with the automated placing of product directly into foils or containers. This indexing model has an output capacity of up to 4,000 forms per hour, and is ideal for placing products such as garlic butter into trays, cheese sauce onto fish portions, flapjack into foils and Christmas pudding into dishes.
 Formatic Stacking
The Formatic S-series machines enables the food producer to automatically stack formed product at up to 4,000 products per hour. With the facility to fully paper interleave every product, the Formatic S-series prepares product for freezing, packaging or consumer display.
Formatic I-series
The Formatic I-series machines extend the capabilities the standard C-series by offering either a thicker product of up to 50m, or a wide and long product of up to 160mm. They are a special construction to suit their purpose, although they still share a lot of common parts with the standard range of Formatic machines.
Formatic Drums
The Formatic drum provides the food processor with the flexibility to produce multiple lines quickly and easily. In house manufacturing skills enable Deighton Manufacturing Limited to tailor every drum to our customers’ unique design requirements, and with the ability to produce virtually any two dimensional shape, the product possibilities offered by the Formatic are endless!
